![]() We're at the wonderful Stourhead today. This beautiful house and gardens is looked after by the National Trust. We met Eric Howard a famous photographer who lives on the estate, when we arrived yesterday. He's organised access at all times for us and so I am hoping that the trees will be turning, and I can get into the gardens on my own. Hope you enjoy the photos, I've sent a couple off to the National Trust - fingers crossed!

I had the pleasure of meeting Eric Howard today. Eric is famous photographer who lives on the estate at Stourhead. He has kindly arranged access all hours passses for me so that I can try and get some great photos without the crowds. It will be an early start tomorrow!
Eric became a professional photographer at 18, within two years his clients included: The Times, IPC Magazines, National Magazines, Virgin Records, Phonogram Records, and RCA Records. He also sold original prints through Sotheby’s and the Photographers Gallery, London. Eric designed a totally new calendar presentation system using plastics. Amongst the calendars published were: Lamb’s Navy Rum, The Tate Gallery, Agfa, John Swannell, Bob Carlos Clarke and the Royal Institute of British Architects. In 1995 Eric won the prestigious Royal Photographic Society Gold Medal with his Portrait of Walter against the competition of thousands of other established photographic talents world wide. Have a look at at his website to see some extraordinary images - www.erichoward.eu I received a nice email from David Vane from SBGN regarding the photos I took at the Start Up and Business Show. As mentioned this organisation may prove very useful for those of you who are looking to set up your own business. You can find them at www.sbgn.co.uk - all the contact details are there.
Received a lovely thankyou card from Austin and Kirsty today saying ...'Thankyou for taking such beautiful photos on our special day for us to treasure forever, Austin says they're awesome!'
