Mid Summer Wedding Fayre

At the Wedding Fayre at the Holiday Inn, Southampton today. Thanks to Sally from Wedding Exhibition Promotions for organising a very well-attended and successful fayre. We had a great pitch next to an amazing magician called Darren Sneglar. He does 'close up' magic, and we couldn't have been closer, but still couldn't work out how he does any of his magic tricks. I would certainly recommend Darren!

Jo and I were thrilled to meet so many excited and delightful brides-to-be, and it was great to see Emma at our stand, and we look forward to catching up soon, to discuss your wedding photography. Really good fun, and it was a very successful day for Richard Edwards Photography!

Wedding Photography, Warsash Hampshire and Holiday Inn, Titchfield, Emma & Marc

Marc and Emma’s wedding at the charming St Mary’s Church in Warsash, followed by a reception at the Holiday Inn, Titchfield. Really great to work alongside Keith Harris and we got some wonderful shots on a really beautiful day. I spent time before the wedding having some fun down on the waterfront with Marc and his friends, while Keith was with Emma and her Bridesmaids. What a fantastic day!

Kirsy’s 30th birthday party at the Gosport Rugby Club. The hottest day of the year and taking pictures at a fancy dress party! Decided against the gorilla suit and went as an Aussie beach-bum, so at least I could wear shorts and a T-shirt. Kirsty looked stunning in her showgirl outfit and I got some great shots of her friends and family in their amazing outfits (and som fun playing around with Photoshop for Jake).
What a fab night, and thanks for booking me again Kirsty!!

I spent most of this week at the Thorngate Almshouse Trust to capture pictures for their annual report and excellent promotional material. Met some very lovely and inspirational people, both carers and residents alike. A truely memorable experience.
