I was very pleased to be asked to take the photographs at the awards presentation, although slightly disappointed not to win one myself! Amongst the award winners, a huge congratulations to the lovely Carol Howell, 25 years as the club’s first team scorer, what a fabulous achievement.

Keith joined me today at this small but local Wedding Fayre. We were very grateful to our new friend at the stall next to us, who kindly lent us a table cloth so we could enlarge our area - Thanks Julie!!
We had a great day with a fair few people recognising Brides and Grooms from our previous Weddings, as well as trying to work out where they recognised Keith from! again we had a successful day, with a few bookings for 2015! By the way, Julie was displaying wedding flowers at the show, and there were some lovely bouquets. For more information email Julie. Tracy and Darrell’s wedding at St Boniface in Chandlers Ford, followed by a reception at the Holiday Inn at Eastleigh. Had a really great time photographing Tracy and Darrell’s big day and meeting their lovely family and friends. Jo came along as the photographer’s assistant (!) and got some great shots, too. The bride looked stunning and the reception room was fantastic in the colour scheme of the moment, Cadbury’s purple. Great day and the happy couple are off on honeymoon to the Caribbean – I’m not at all jealous … much!
Met a top guy, Iain Blair from White Star Cars who has some beautiful vehicles for hire for weddings and special occasions. Today we launched our new look stand at the Hilton Hotel Wedding Fayre. Thanks so much for the compliments that we had from other businesses and most importantly our potential customers. Jo and I met some really lovely couples at this very busy fayre. We loved hearing all about their plans for their big days, which we hope will include us, of course!
What a great day yesterday turned out to be at the Holiday Inn, Eastleigh. I've got a wedding there later this month so it was a great opportunity to meet the staff who will be looking after Tracy & Darrell. I've also found some nice places to get some outdoor photos at their reception. Thanks for the guided tour Toni, and I look forward to seeing you on 21st September.
We had a busy day at our stand, and it was nice to see Rachael again. We are really looking forward to taking the photographs at your wedding! We've got a busy month ahead, with photography commissions, as well as several Wedding Fayres. Here are some dates for events we will be attending:
*** Today we are at The Holiday Inn at Eastleigh. We'll be there from 11am to 4pm, so why not pop in and meet the team! We like this venue ... there's a Starbucks on site! *** 15th September at The Hilton Hotel, Farlington. This is quite a big show, so we're really pleased to be invitied. The show opens at 11am and doesn't end until 4pm, so there's plenty of time to find what you are looking for. *** 22nd September at Thorngate Hall in Gosport. Come and visit us anytime between 11am and 2.30pm. *** 6th October at The Langstone Hotel, Hayling Island. We are really looking forward to this show, it's such a lovely location, and our biggest show of the year. We hope to see you there anytime between 11am and 4pm. Wedding Photography, Knights Enham, Andover & Avington Park, Winchester, Hampshire, Corinne & Bobby6/9/2013 Great to work alongside my second photographer, the very talented Mr Keith Harris. The wedding took place at a beautiful 12th Century church in Knights Enham and the reception was at the fabulous and majestic Avington Park, near Winchester.
After a very warm start to September, the forecast for the day was dreadful, however, to our very good fortune, the rain stayed away and we had the most wonderful day. Avington Park is a photographer’s dream, and so were the guests, who were great fun, and not shy of the camera. And, of course, it always helps when the bride and groom are so horribly good-looking! Keith and I were rather excited by the pictures, (we took some amazing shots, even though we say so ourselves!), but it is so lovely to get great feedback from the people who really count ... the Bride and Groom. |
